To me what makes a song really good is beyond certain things we think matter in music today, What makes a song great is all the little behind the scene images you get, The more grabbing things are the rhyme and measure, the heart beat of a song. And even then you can still grasp that concept and have an untuned guitar and not be able to carry a tune in a bucket. If that heart beat is there, that deep sense of driving rhyme, then you’ve got a pulse.
